Look, I know my "how has another month gone already?" screeching is going to get old real quick, but...
...how has another month gone already.
(Also I am late-ish with this post because I went to a friend's wedding on Saturday and got home after 11pm. I love you all but not enough to stay up past midnight. I'm an old lady and need to sleep.)
One Quirk Later: Prompt #5
(individual images can be found my Pinterest boards: c. guys, f. dialogue, a. until the clock strikes midnight)
I have two ideas with this one, and I don't know which angle to go with, so it'll be fun sorting that out!
(...Y'know how some people say there should be a sarcasm font? I need an actually-not-sarcasm font. I do anticipate having fun writing this one. [And now I'm making it sound like I didn't enjoy writing the others...] Or maybe I could just, I don't know, not be sarcastic all the time so I didn't have to signal when I wasn't?)
(......Yeah, nah, the font sounds easier.)
To join in with this madness:
- Write whatever this picture prompt inspires you to!
- Post it on your blog!
- Link back to this post—and there's a link-up image, too, if you'd like to use that.
- Comment on one of my posts so I can come and read your amazing writing!!
- And I'll list everyone's links the next post. :D
You have a fortnight before I put up the post with my story, at which point... uh... nothing will happen. It's not a deadline, I don't have the heart for that. xD You can use any Quirk at any time!
A bit of a recap for Quirk #4:
- Samantha took the "into the dark" prompt in a direction I didn't expect! (This also keeps her streak going... she's participated in all four Quirks so far. 💛)
- The Temperamental Writer supplied us with dystopian brothers and angst! and also killed me! (And she's done three Quirks now!)
- And The Story Sponge joined us for the first time, with two Avonlea-spinster-style sisters who find a girl on top of their car!
A big thank-you to the writers who share their creations with me all of us, and I hope those of you who've been thinking of having a go will join us with this new Quirk because I like getting more stories to read!
And also I promise there will be a non-Quirk post on this blog one day. 🙄
Yay! I think this one will be really fun to write (but perhaps not as good as my last one? It might take awhile to top that).
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing it, Samantha - have fun! :D
DeleteI really want to write something for this, but I guess pray that I'll have time with college and all *insert The Scream face here* *I don't know if you've ever seen that painting but it's a good representation of how I feel right now so*
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the prompt is so good! I hope I get ideas (and tiiime)
oh yeahhh The Scream is very relatable xD Hope college is treating you all right, Becky!
DeleteSo excited to do this!
